Rug Portraits

Take this opportunity to learn from one of the most talented rug hooking artist, Donna Hrkman.  She's won numerous awards, published in Rug Hooking Magazine and is a great teacher of the craft.

This will be a 2-day workshop, March 9 - 10, 2012, held at the Hotel Gallery in Tipp City, OH.  You will learn the basics of portrait rugs using shading and shapes with simple rules and techniques to make any portrait look good.

You'll work from a simple pattern, with uncut wool, and written instructions that Donna will provide.  The primary cuts will be 6's and 5's, but we'll play with wider and narrower cuts too.  Donna will also be available to advise you on your own potential projects.

Registration and pre-payment is required.

Workshop Instruction & Kit - $110.00

Drinks, morning tea and afternoon snacks provided.  You will be on your own for lunch.
